1515 Surf is a two-tower complex in Coney Island, Brooklyn, designed by Studio V Architecture and developed by LCOR. Spanning 470,000 square feet and 463 units, 1515 Surf features unparalled views and resort-style amenities that complement the eclectic building design, creating a retreat from the ordinary. The graphic identity features a bold typographic treatment that echoes the brand promise to “sea the many sides of Coney” by arranging the name on four different sides. The logo takes center stage as the main graphic element in a series of crops and scales that gives the brand a modern grit. A messaging platform plays off the community’s proximity to the sea, while a unique palette of bright blues, yellow and black pulls inspiration from nautical themes, in an unexpected way.
